Sunsets at Pier 60 Sunset Festival is a nightly sunset celebration that takes place in Pier 60 park on Clearwater Beach. This family event features artisans, crafters, street performers and live musical entertainment. Pier 60 offers access to fishing activities, fine dining, shopping, entertainment and white sandy beaches.

Two state-of-the-art major league venues have been added to the 2010 Big Ten/BIG EAST Baseball Challenge, hosted by the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Sports Commission. Doubleheaders at Dunedin Stadium and Bright House Field highlight a slate that features 30 games over three days, at current and former big league facilities in the St. Petersburg and Clearwater area.
The 3rd annual Tampa Bay Food & Wine Festival will be at the Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach will feature dozens of wineries from around the world and food from local restaurants. The festival will include wine dinners and seminars with celebrity guests, The event benefits Heartbeat International, a charity that provides heart health services to the needy.

Spend the afternoon at the park. Overlooking the beautiful intercoastal waterway at Coachman Park, this Independence Day celebration features the Mostly Pops Orchestra with John and Mary K. Wilson at 7:30 p.m.. A spectacular fireworks show will follow at 9:30 p.m. This all-American family event includes children's activities, food and beverages for purchase and exhibitor and sponsor booths for browsing.

Super Boat returns to Clearwater for a 2nd year. Super Boat International of Key West has been staging races for 30 years and is best known for its annual races in Key West, Sarasota and New York City. The races feature 50-foot boats with F-16 jet canopies and 4,800-horsepower engines. During races, they reach speeds of 100 to 140 mph, depending on weather conditions.
Events will take place at Coachman Park and on Clearwater Beach, including Pier 60.

Ironman's newest event, the Ironman 70.3 Series, culminates with its world championship in Clearwater, FL. More than 1,800 domestic and international competitors will earn the right to compete in the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 by qualifying at one of the 22 Ironman 70.3 events worldwide. Ironman 70.3 events consist of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. The race will start and finish at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach.

This annual Jazz Festival, features music from traditional styles through swing....special events will feature pianos, brass, reeds, washboards, swing dance instruction, and a parasol parade. Around 20 bands from all over the country will perform at the Sheraton and Marriott hotels on Sand Key.
Join the teams, their marching bands and cheerleaders as they enjoy the sun and beaches in Clearwater Beach. The Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, City of Clearwater, and local businesses sponsor this annual fun day which includes live music, skydivers, a tug-of-war and other contests from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
